The Village Care Center offers three different levels of care in our 420-bed facility:
The Long-Term Care unit includes two care neighborhoods designed to turn a large environment into smaller, more intimate, settings for the residents, helping them live in a comfortable and familiar environment. Staff members work to develop the residents’ abilities to do activities of daily living and help them to maintain as much independence as possible. We want them to feel they are valued part of a friendly neighborhood, receiving the care they need by gracious, professional staff who understand the needs of older adults.
Meal time is a social time, as residents are served in the dining room with their choice of buffet menu selections while they visit with friends and neighbors. Each day is filled with activity choices such as exercise, arts, crafts, games, church services, birthday and holiday celebrations, and much more, coordinated by a professional activities staff who specialize in senior care. We provide common areas, such as the old-fashioned ice cream parlor and family great room that are dedicated to giving residents and their families a place to enjoy their time together.
