As one of the most comprehensive skilled nursing facilities in Kansas City, the Village Care Center is dedicated to providing compassionate care in an inviting atmosphere. Our focus is on meeting the physical, mental, emotional and social needs of the residents. As part of the John Knox Village continuing care retirement community (CCRC), our organization has specialized in older adult care for more than 40 years.
At 420 beds, our Care Center is one of the largest in the area, which means we have the resources to provide a higher level of care and a greater variety of activities for seniors who call this home. The Village Care Center is made up of smaller neighborhoods where everyone knows their neighbors and friendships are long-lasting.
Whether a resident comes to the Village Care Center for a short rehabilitative stay, or makes their home in either the memory care or long-term senior care neighborhoods, we provide comfortable surroundings and high quality nursing care 24 hours a day. The Village Care Center is Medicare and Medicaid certified and we are accredited by CARF-CCAC (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation facilities - Continuing Care Accreditation Commission)
