Why someone should move to the Village

Joe Frets

I had lived here in Lee’s Summit for over 10 years and I knew this was the place I wanted to retire to. This has everything you could probably want. When I discussed this with my sons, I told them it fits everything I’m looking for. I decided on my great room apartment because it gives me space for everything I want, and with it being maintenance free, I can pick up anytime and go with my kids.

Anything you can imagine almost, it’s here! I enjoy playing cards, golfing, and going to the entertainment and socials. There’s always something to do. Being at the Village has allowed me to meet a number of good people and I have made good friends here.

Having the healthcare was a big aspect in making the decision. I wanted to be less trouble to my sons, and having the long-term health care here is a big relief. I’m not married and it’s a peace of mind and security, even now, knowing that if something happened someone would be there.
