The Village has nursing and specialized health care career opportunities in a variety of settings, including:
- Village Care Center, one of the area’s largest skilled nursing facilities, including a rehabilitation unit, an Alzheimer’s/dementia unit and long-term care
- Valley View Residential Care, a 119-unit residential care facility for residents who can still live independently but need a little extra assistance with their daily living tasks.
- Valley View Memory Care, an assisted living unit for people with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory-related conditions, staffed using a universal worker concept.
- LifeStyle Services, private duty services to patients and clients in their homes, both at John Knox Village and the greater Kansas City and surrounding areas.
- Village Home Health, with skilled nurses, therapists and social workers providing services in the comfort of home. Serving the greater Kansas City area and surrounding areas, as well as residents of John Knox Village.
- Village Hospice, providing physical, emotional and spiritual support to those with life-limiting illnesses – and their families – across the region, as well as here at John Knox Village.
