The John Knox Village Home Health Agency brings peace of mind to the patient, family and friends by offering home care – a health care option that provides a broad range of effective medical care and high quality support services in the comfort of the patient’s home. It is a cost-effective alternative to hospital stays for a person who needs ongoing care that cannot easily be provided by family and friends.

- Intermittent Skilled Nursing – Our nurses can help you learn how to care for your specific health condition, change dressings, give injections, provide catheter care, IV therapy, ostomy care, cardiopulmonary nursing and mental health nursing.

No matter whether you live on the John Knox Village campus, or elsewhere in the greater Kansas City area, our committed and caring staff is here to make your life a little bit easier.
- In-home personal care – Our personal care attendants and certified nursing assistants can help meet your needs from time to time or around-the-clock. Services include help with bathing and grooming; dressing and laundry; meal preparation and grocery shopping; and moving around your home.
- Companionship services – Our staff can provide assist you with daily tasks by accompanying you to appointments and activities, helping with general household management, aiding with correspondence and reading activities and just being there to talk when you need some conversation.
- Respite care – Your family caregivers may need a break from time to time. Caregiving is a rewarding experience, but one that can also be physically and emotionally demanding. Family and friends may have other obligations, or may need some time to recuperate. Our caring and qualified staff can step in and provide peace of mind for you and your caregivers for a few hours or a few days.
